animal jewellery

i'm writing a dissertation at uni on animal's wearing jewellery any help would be appreciated. scarily i have found a bikini for a dog. nice!

I'm not sure I worded the question right, but this is what I mean:Lately I've been thinking of doing one of those classic animal tooth/claw sort of necklaces(planning to do one with an orca tooth). But I was wondering...In Native American culture, or any other for that matter, are there any animals that it's disrespectful to use for jewelry?

because the answer is different for every culture (including the hundreds of Native cultures), the most respectful thing to do would be to discover what is correct for your people. If you were wearing something of your culture, that my culture would find offensive, I would not be offended because it is the way of your people. But if you tried to make something of someone else's culture, that would be disrespectful.

I have a random tooth from a random animal and I would like to make it into jewelry. How do you put a protective coating or seal on it? What chemicals are needed?

A coating is probably not needed but you could try a Krylon spray from the hardware store.

well its simple, is it a relative, animal, jewellery?. I ave never being able to choose , but family always comes first, they are the mostimportantt thing to me, but my 2 best friends I care about to, I could never let them leave me.

My father. He's been an educator and a friend, and he's always been there for me. I'd have to be a fool to choose something other than family for this question.

also do you think if i donate $100 it will make a difference? i think it's not a lot, but i am making/selling jewelry and decided to donate half my earnings to either an animal shelter or another cause
and i'm asking this because my school requires for everyone to do 25 hours of community service to pass the grade and i'm just doing extra

I dont think your time driving to and from the shelter to make a donation will count as community service. However, if you volunteer to clean the pens, walk to dogs, etc, that might qualify. Contact the shelter and see if they need any volunteer help/ Im sure $100. would be great for the shelter. It might seem like a small amount, but every little bit helps!
