Karat (gold) is a measure of purity.

Carat (gemstones) is a measure of weight.

I think you have the two mixed up a bit.

Gold is weighed in ounces troy, and currently runs about $655 an ounce for right around 24 kt. I have no idea what the bracelet weighs, nor the purity or quality of craftsmanship, so it's your call if it's worth it.

For Christmas this year I've been planning on asking my mom for a Juicy Couture charm bracelet. Its gold&is fairy tale themed..I really love it. But I've been thinking that I might get tired of it easily and in a few months it might seem tacky..So I thought maybe it would be a better idea if I asked for a Tiffany heart bracelet since Tiffany jewelry is classier and would probably be a better investment. Opinions? [:

While I'm sure the charm bracelet is adorable, it might not be your style in two years. A Tiffany bracelet would definitely be a better investment in the long run, and you will probably get more use out of it.
