For viva la Vida, by Coldplay. Is it Roman Catholic or Calvary choirs a singing? Cause my brother thinks they say its catholic, when me and my friends keep on telling him its calvary, even though it makes no sense.

Hi a was at church this afternoon and I heard a great song with so much meaning. I've been looking online for the lyrics and I cant seem to find them. thje song goes something like this:
You are all we have....you give us what we need....our life is ion your hands O Lord....our life is in your hands
Thanks
Nick
"You are all we have; you give us what we need.
Our lives are in your hands, O Lord; our lives are in your hands."
From what I found (digging REAL deep online), it is "You Are All We Have" and is written by Fr. Francis Patrick O'Brien. In fact, it is the title track from one of his CDs.

Come out Virginia, don't let me wait
You Catholic girls start much too late
aw But sooner or later it comes down to fate
I might as well be the one
well, They showed you a statue, told you to pray
They built you a temple and locked you away
Aw, but they never told you the price that you pay
For things that you might have done.....
Only the good die young
thats what i said
only the good die young x2
You might have heard I run with a dangerous crowd
We ain't too pretty we ain't too proud
We might be laughing a bit too loud
aw But that never hurt no one
So come on Virginia show me a sign
Send up a signal I'll throw you the line
The stained-glass curtain you're hiding behind
Never lets in the sun
Darlin' only the good die young
woah
i tell ya
only the good die young x2
You got a nice white dress and a party on your confirmation
You got a brand new soul
mmmm, And a cross of gold
But Virginia they didn't give you quite enough information
You didn't count on me
When you were counting on your rosary
(oh woah woah)
They say there's a heaven for those who will wait
Some say it's better but I say it ain't
I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints
the Sinners are much more fun...
you know that only the good die young
oh woah baby
i tell ya
only the good die young, X2
You say your mother told you all that I could give you was a reputation
Aww She never cared for me
But did she ever say a prayer for me? oh woah woah
Come out come out come out virgina dont let me wait,
You catholic girls start much too late
Sooner or later it comes down to fate
I might as well be the one,
You know that only the good die young
I'm telling you baby
You know that only the good die young
Only the good die young
Only the gooooooooooooooood
Only the good die young
Only the gooooooooooooooood
Only the good die young
Ooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooo oooooooooo...
(Only the good die young)x2
Off the top I would say there are none.
I really enjoy the sound and style of black metal music
sometimes the lyrics in these songs are anti-christ, satanic, etc..
I dont believe in the lyrics or listen to them at heart. Im strong to my faith.
Is it a sin to listen to this kind of music?
Could be...why not try Christian metal? Better than lining the pockets of musicians who have no problem with lyrics that go against Faith.
More specifically, from the Catechism of the Catholic Church:
2496 The means of social communication (especially the mass media) can give rise to a certain passivity among users, making them less than vigilant consumers of what is said or shown. Users should practice moderation and discipline in their approach to the mass media. They will want to form enlightened and correct consciences the more easily to resist unwholesome influences.

Question about Wedding Music? :Wedding Questions.net
Here Comes the Bride is not set in stone, even in a Catholic church. I believe there are restrictions on some kinds of secular music, but even Here Comes the Bride is actually a secular tune, since it was written for Richard Wagner’s opera Lohengrin. The most commonly used music for the recessional also comes from an opera, Mendelsohn’s opera of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Both were written late in the nineteenth century, and thus are not that long-standing as traditions go.
But there are many churches that allow a wider selection of secular music, and many couples who are not marrying in a church, or even using a clergyperson.
So, yes, there are a lot of brides walking up the aisle to something other than Wagner. Me? I was lead up the aisle by a bagpiper who played a lovely traditional Scottish tune called Highland Wedding. Pachelbel’s Canon in D has been a very popular tune for wedding processionals for the last thirty or forty years. JS Bach’s Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring, and Purcell’s Trumpet Voluntary are also popular, as are a wide variety of hymns and classical pieces.
...U2#39;s music transcend age - U2 Tour Fans Daily - U2 360 Tour News ...
As Catholics begin the holiday weekend. The same questions appear to come up over time. Are the boys Catholic or Protestants?
Throughout U2’s career, faith struggle has been a recurring theme in their music. Bono, a child of mixed Catholic and Protestant backgrounds, has explored his spiritual self through U2’s life in the spotlight. In his music, he frequently cites scripture and recounts personal periods of hope and despair, faith and doubt, temptation and grace — all characteristic of a Christian worldview. The spiritual messages behind the band’s lyrics are so prevalent that some places of worship have used the band’s music in services called U2charists, in an attempt to reach out to a younger crowd. From
So how is it possible that a group who put out their first album years before most of my classmates were born still carries relevance for young people? The themes in U2’s music transcend age, as they continue to explore love and its meaning, relationship with the divine, sin and forgiveness — with their signature humor and hint of irreverence. Their songs contain a depth that allows for reflection and interpretation.
