virgin mary garden statue

Last night, i had a dream that i was on a road somewhere in europe (i believe in italy), and i was finding someone ot something i think. So, as i was walking, i saw old pilgrim buildings or whatever you call old villages.It seemed as if no lived in the buildings any more.

Anyways, as i reached the end of the road i was on, there was another road leading to a small garden pathway which had a stair case leading to a church or something or a place very religious.

Next to the stair case there used to be a small statue of the virgin mary.( i know this because i had a dream about this place before) I also saw a women dressed in white and beige clothing floating just above the surface of the ground and she turned around and looked at me petrified and it seemed as if she was suffering(the expression of her face looked like she was suffering). The woman looked exactly like the virgin mary. She was trying to call me or tell me something i believe with both her arms raised parallel to the floor below her. I stood there petrified as well by the scene and then she started to come to me. I ran away afraid and all of a sudden i woke up and almost suffocated to death and scared to death as well.

Can anyone interpret this dream? I never experienced any thing like this in my life and I'm freaked to death! Did i just turn my back on God's calling?

P.S The day before the dream, i didn't go any where religious like a church, i was just working on the computer in an office(didn't think of any thing religious as well).

someone once told me only the dreamer can really understand such a dream. I'm not sure that's true but I would say that this is a very important dream for you and I don't think your running away was so terrible. You were afraid. If the dream is important, reflect on it, relax and it will return... God willing.

ps I do think that this is an important dream.
