to JESUS. If worshiping her in the cadre of Mother of Jesus, even in a idol or statue shape also, why you hate them? I feel the Catholics are more purified people. Why not follow their way?
Just imagine without Mary's giving milk to Jesus, without serving him with all patience when he was months old, without taking utmost care like eye-lid, how jesus grown? She must the first to respect.

Perhaps it is because most people are misinformed.
I am a Roman Chatolic. We do not worship Mary as we do Jesus, who is one part of the holy Triity. We venrate her or hold her in the highest possible respect. We do not pray to her as we do to Jesus. We ask ask her to interven for us. We do not worship the statue of Mary, we use is a visual learning tool. Just as most religons use the picture of Jesus and the the concived image of God.

I would also like to find a photo of it. Apparently my husband's ancestor was responsible for this and we just recently found out. I know it was carved in Germany and brought to Canada. I do not know who did the carving and why.

Yes, a statue REPRESENTS whatever the artist intended. But a statue of Mary is not Mary; a statue of Ganesha is not Ganesha. It may help a person keep focused on the entity to which they pray, but it is not the entity itself.

P.S. I'd love to see a cow mow. Do they use a hand-pushed mower or a ride-on one?

Don't Catholics understand that this is Idol worship. How can they pray to Mary when the bible says No one cometh to God except through Jesus ( NOT MARY)

Also why do Catholics pray to Infant Jesus. What the heck. Baby Jesus did not die on the cross, Jesus was a full grown MAN AGE 33 when he died on the cross-

No, they really don't, and sadly, i doubt they ever will. It's a fundamental part of their religion now, not to understand what they do. Nowhere in the Bible does it say to worship saints, or to confess to another sinner about your sins--whether he's wearing a fancy robe or not.

That's why I'm non-denominational, I go to a Bible Church and I read exactly what the English translation says. Nobody has a right to teach their own opinions on God and what he says and does.

And Catholics worship Mary becausethey think that Jesus is God, and Mary was the mother of Jesus, so Mary is the mother of God. Hate to break my tone of intelligent commentary, but that's just silly. Mary was a sinner like everyone else, she was probably thinking when they kicked her out of the inn, "buncha l3@$T@ l^D$, i'm about to pregnant with your savior and you can't find room!? Well then kick somebody out, I'm Mary dammit!"
She was just the mortal chosen to bring him into the world, that's all.
It was a holy game of chess, and Mary was a pawn used to put the king of the red team in check and send him running in fear behind his last pieces, but that doesn't mean the pawn deserves any worship--she's just a pawn. She followed God's will, (she's so lucky). No crying he makes!? WTF!, that's not fair at ALL! she got to be the mother of the perfect child, not the well behaved one, not the nice one, not the smart one; she got to be the mother of the perfect child, that should be payment enough for her.

It is wrong the bible warns about idolatry , Saints are supposed to act as middle men between us and god. The bible says no one comes to god except through Jesus.
When looking for a religion you must compare the churches actions to the bibles teachings.
The churches are rotten fruit.
