Have you ever been to a Polish National Catholic Church or do you know much about it?

What is its relation to the varied Old Catholic denominations and jurisdictions?
Missalettes state that the PNCC is one of the groups that can receive Catholic Communion under certain circumstances and conditions

It is no longer a part of the Old Catholic group. The PNCC is currently seeking full communion with the Vatican. PNCC faithful are allowed to receive the Eucharist in the Catholic Church and this is the first step in full communion. God bless!

What are the main differences between the Roman Catholic Church and the National Catholic Church?
Saint Patrick's Day parade, Cork, 2010 - Some traditional values

I am Roman Catholic but not informed as to this splinter group.

The main difference is that the National Catholic Church does not recognize the authority of the Pope. I believe they also permit divorced people to receive the Eucharist. So despite their claims, they are not administering the Sacraments validly as far as the Roman Catholic Church is concerned.

What are the differences between the Roman Catholic Church and the Polish National Catholic church?
Baltimore Basilica (Cathedral)

Beleifs, etc

There has been a ten year discussion between the Vatican and the PNCC and they have found no essential differences and now allow each others members to receive the Eucharist from each others Churches. The one stumbling block to full communion is that the PNCC has many former RC priests who left because they could not fulfill their vow of celibacy and got married.

It looks as if their will be a future where these Churches will be in full communion with each other with the PNCC being recognized as a separate Rite within the Western Church. May we all pray for this unity.

Why did the Polish National Catholic Church separate from the Roman Catholic church?
Baltimore Basilica of the National Shrine of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

need this asap..please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i am polish roman catholic as well......
fyi, PNCC can get married while roman catholic cannot

It was originally a part of the Old Catholic movement that separated from the Latin Rite Church over the issue of Papal infallibility. The have been in talks for decades on reunification and have signed joint agreements. PNCC Catholics can receive the blessed Sacrament in the Catholic Church and this privilege is reciprocal. Full communion is likely to occur. The major stumbling block towards full communion seems to be the priests who have left the Latin Rite and are pastors among the PNCC. God bless.

NOTE:

Yes, priests are allowed to be married in the PNCC.

What is the Polish National Catholic Church and how close are they to the RomanCatholic and the Episcopal?
Baltimore - Pope John Paul II Statue and Park

what are you after? They are as close as any Episcopal church-which is fairly close-cept-no pope or mary.

  • The Republican (bCatholic church/b) Captivity | bNational Catholic/b b.../b

Last November at their post-election meeting, a vocal minority of bishops lamented the election results, aghast that not only a majority of Americans, but more tellingly a majority of Catholics, had voted to make Barack Obama President of the United States. So extreme were the comments of these few bishops that some could easily have confused them with Republican ward-heelers, and be prone to the fear that a new “Republican Captivity” of our Church was in full force.

A lot of the bishops’ hysteria at their November meeting was over that great Republican bogeyman, the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA), which was not a part of the Democratic platform, and had absolutely no priority among the issues facing the new administration. This did not prevent the public lamentations of select bishops on how FOCA would force Catholic hospitals to close - despite the insistence of the Catholic Health Association to the contrary.

This site is dedicated to the traditional Anglican expression of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ. We profess the orthodox Christian Faith enshrined in the three great Creeds and the Seven Ecumenical Councils of the ancient undivided Church. We celebrate the Seven Sacraments of the historic Church. We cherish and continue the Catholic Revival inaugurated by the Tractarian or Oxford Movement. Definitely not 'tepid centrist Anglicanism!...' We faithfully adhere to the Rule of Faith laid down by St. Vincent of Lerins in these terms: “Id teneamus, ubique, quod semper, quod ab omnibus creditum est; hoc est etenim vere proprieque catholicum.” (We hold that which has been believed everywhere, always, and of all people; for that is truly and properly...
