When the Jews worshipped the queen of heaven in the book of Jeremiah they were condemned:
Jeremiah 7
18 The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead [their] dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.
Also Jeremiah 44:18,19 and 25.
How does a church justify such an unscriptural view of Mary?
Mary is our Mother and Queen of the New Davidic Kingdom
John 19:26 - Jesus makes Mary the Mother of us all as He dies on the Cross by saying "behold your mother." Jesus did not say "John, behold your mother" because he gave Mary to all of us, his beloved disciples. All the words that Jesus spoke on Cross had a divine purpose. Jesus was not just telling John to take care of his mother.
Rev. 12:17 - this verse proves the meaning of John 19:26. The "woman's" (Mary's) offspring are those who follow Jesus. She is our Mother and we are her offspring in Jesus Christ. The master plan of God's covenant love for us is family. But we cannot be a complete family with the Fatherhood of God and the Brotherhood of Christ without the Motherhood of Mary.
John 2:3 - this is a very signifcant verse in Scripture. As our mother, Mary tells all of us to do whatever Jesus tells us. Further, Mary's intercession at the marriage feast in Cana triggers Jesus' ministry and a foreshadowing of the Eucharistic celebration of the Lamb. This celebration unites all believers into one famiy through the marriage of divinity and humanity.
John 2:7 - Jesus allows His mother to intercede for the people on His behalf, and responds to His mother's request by ordering the servants to fill the jars with water.
Psalm 45:9 - the psalmist teaches that the Queen stands at the right hand of God. The role of the Queen is important in God's kingdom. Mary the Queen of heaven is at the right hand of the Son of God.
1 Kings 2:17, 20 - in the Old Testament Davidic kingdom, the King does not refuse his mother. Jesus is the new Davidic King, and He does not refuse the requests of his mother Mary, the Queen.
1 Kings 2:18 - in the Old Testament Davidic kingdom, the Queen intercedes on behalf of the King's followers. She is the Queen Mother (or "Gebirah"). Mary is our eternal Gebirah.
1 Kings 2:19 - in the Old Testament Davidic kingdom the King bows down to his mother and she sits at his right hand. We, as children of the New Covenant, should imitate our King and pay the same homage to Mary our Mother. By honoring Mary, we honor our King, Jesus Christ.
1 Kings 15:13 - the Queen Mother is a powerful position in Israel's royal monarchy. Here the Queen is removed from office. But now, the Davidic kingdom is perfected by Jesus, and our Mother Mary is forever at His right hand.
2 Chron. 22:10 - here Queen Mother Athalia destroys the royal family of Judah after she sees her son, King Ahaziah, dead. The Queen mother plays a significant role in the kingdom.
Neh. 2:6 - the Queen Mother sits beside the King. She is the primary intercessor before the King.

They think Jesus is God and that she is the mother of God.
When the angel appeared to Mary he specifically said what will be born will be "Holy, God's son"
But some just can't see that because they are discouraged from using the bible.
They should pick up a bible and do some reading for themselves...that would open their eyes because I just talked to a priest about a serious matter....adultery ending a marriage....I pointed out that once the marriage bonds were broken with a third party having intimate relations with one of them then a scriptural divorce was biblical.....He said "Hold on right there!"
We don't go by the bible we go by the spoken word.
So you Catholics out there who still go to church...you might want to check out another faith because if you want God to give you eternal life, you will have to learn what is required of you...It is in the bible. The priests don't know where it is so they can't help you.

Toward the close of the year 3 before the Christian era God’s angel Gabriel materialized or became incarnated. In this way he appeared to an unmarried Jewish girl named Mary of David’s royal line. To Mary he explained a new thing that was to occur without her human marriage, saying: “Look! you will conceive in your womb and give birth to a son, and you are to call his name Jesus. This one will be great and will be called Son of the Most High, and Jehovah God will give him the throne of David his father, and he will be king over the house of Jacob forever, and there will be no end of his kingdom.” “How is this to be, since I am having no relations with a man?” asked Mary. Gabriel explained: “Holy spirit will come upon you, and power of the Most High will overshadow you. For that reason also what is born will be called holy, God’s Son.” Mary agreed to God’s use of her in this miraculous way, saying: “Look! Jehovah’s slave girl! May it take place with me according to your declaration.” (Luke 1:26-38) But how?
Jer 7:18 The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead [their] dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.
Does the Catholic Church consider Mary the queen of Heaven?
Catholicism contends that at Mary's death, the Lord took her up into heaven and gave her the title, "Queen over all things:"
"Finally the Immaculate Virgin, preserved free from all stain of original sin, when the course of her earthly life was finished, was taken up body and soul into heavenly glory, and exalted by the Lord as Queen over all things." Pg. 252, #966
Once again, Catholic doctrine and the Word of God have a head-on collision. Scripture not only never teaches such a doctrine, it condemns it. In Jeremiah 44: 9, we read about the worship of a false goddess known as the "Queen of heaven," a practice which made God furious:
"The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger." Jeremiah 7:18
Why did these people worship this false goddess called the Queen of heaven? It was a tradition of men that had been handed down to them:
"But we will... burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes..." Jeremiah 44:17
Has Catholicism handed down the same pagan ritual that infuriates God?
Though Catholicism insists upon exalting Mary, the Bible exalts only God Almighty:
"Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; let thy glory be above all the earth." Psalm 57:5
"...thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all." 1 Chronicles 29:11
"...let the God of my salvation be exalted." Psalm 18:46
"Be thou exalted, LORD, in thine own strength..." Psalm 21:13
"Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth." Psalm 46:10
"...the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted." Psalm 47:9
"The LORD is exalted; for he dwelleth on high..." Isaiah 33:5
God receives glory through Jesus Christ
"Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him (Jesus), and given him a name which is above every name..." Philippians 2:9-11
Little is know of this mercurial queen; and yet she is probably more important than Mary, Queen of Scots.
Mary Tudor was another one (not unlike the Queen Mother and Lady Diana) who was in thrall of the Catholic Church and who tried to reverse the edicts of her father and return England to its Catholic dependency.
Mary Tudor was responsible for reinstating the hateful Act for the Burning of Heretics (1401) adding an even more hateful addendum which rescinded the `right to recant`. Hitler took a leaf out of her book when persecuting Jews during the Holocaust.
She also repealed the Buggery Act 1533.
So referring to England`s reformation as `Henry VIII and all that` is erroneous; because it was the English populace which wanted the Anglican Church and opposed Mary`s marriage to a Catholic fearing that they would ipso facto become Spanish chattel.
The reign of Elizabeth I was indeed England`s age of Gloriana!
There is a book here. Any publishers out there????
So what is your question? You are expressing an opinion about Mary Tudor, who did indeed get her epithet "Bloody" because she had non-Catholics killed. You say that little is known about her but that is not true. Most of her life is well documented and her psychological abuse (and that of her mother, Catharine of Aragon, who was deeply loved by the English people) by her father was undoubtedly the cause of much of her later cruelty. Read anything on Henry VIII and you will find numerous references to his cruel treatment of both his daughters and their respective mothers.
Not sure what you mean with your reference to the Queen Mother and Lady Diana being "in thrall to the Catholic Church"
In fact, during Mary Tudor's reign, it is likely that most of the common people preferred the traditional Catholic church but they did not like the idea of dissidents being punished and they certainly did not want to be ruled by Spain, which was what they feared would happen as a result of Mary's marriage to the king of Spain.
As far as books, well, there are numerous books on the Tudors collectively as well as individually. If you want to write your own book, go ahead. Finding a publisher is up to you.
Does the Catholic church consider Mary mother of Jesus, the Queen of Heaven?
The fact that the RCC calls Mary the mother of Jesus the Queen of Heaven is further proof that they are simply a continuation of pagan sun-god worship designed to subvert true faith in Yahshuah Messiah and YHWH His Father.
Look at Jeremiah 7:18.
People who do ANYTHING for "The queen of heaven" Yahshuah, as the word of YHWH, speaking through Jeremiah, said to not even pray for this people.
This is what the septuagint says for Jeremiah 7:18: "Their children gather wood, and their fathers kindle a fire, and their women knead dough, to make cakes to the host of heaven; and they have poured out drink-offerings to strange gods, that they might provoke me to anger."
And this is what the NAS/KJV/etc says: "The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger."
Hmmm?
Bless up.

bMary Queen/b of Scots Last Letter Goes on Display » Blue Star Chronicles
Mary Queen of Scots and Elizabeth I are, in my opinion, two of the most fascinating people in history. They were in power, or lack of power in the case of Mary, during one of the most interesting historical periods. They also represented the role of women leaders during that time period. Both were women ruling their respective countries and doing it in very different ways. It goes without saying that Elizabeth I was the more successful of the two. Obviously, she survived whereas Mary, Queen of Scots, was executed for allegedly attempting to overthrow Elizabeth’s government on several occasions.
Even though the two were kin, peers and Mary came to Elizabeth for help when she was faced with exile and then imprisoned by Elizabeth for many years, history tells us that the two never met face to face. It also tells us that Elizabeth was loath to execute Mary. She kept her Sister Cousin in prison for many years, resisting pressure to have her executed.

Moss Landing is a busy fishermen's harbor and community tucked into the southern half of California's Monterey Bay. It's an overflow of sea-battered fishing boats, voracious sea birds and mammals, ancient cemetery on a hill, raffish seafood restaurants, modern major marine research centers and a once flourishing but now dwindling row of antique shops – and just to the east is Elkhorn Slough, its fertile waters and bracing air ringed by slow-rising bronze hills.
All is loomed over by a pair of 500-foot Moss Landing Power Plant stacks, which can be seen for miles up and down the coast. Water from the bay and the slough is used to cool the power-generating process, recycling into one of the richest and most researched bays in the world.
